    The Gospel is Good News

The Gospel message is one of invitation. It is an invitation from the eternal God: Creator, Sovereign and Saviour, to you and I. It is an invitation to come. "Come unto me", said the Lord Jesus, "all that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28) This is a message of good news because if it were not for Jesus Christ, His death for our sins and glorious resurrection, we could have no possibility of coming to God in peace to know His eternal rest. This good news is for today. How will you respond?

    Hear the Gospel

    Each Sunday at 6pm

    Brian Dexter (Jan 13th)

‘Christ in you, the hope of glory‘ from Colossians 1 v 27 brought the message to a fitting end.

Brian took us through chapter 1 of Colossians and presented Jesus Christ’s unique work – able to:

    • deliver us from the power of darkness
    • redeem us because He shed his blood
    • forgive us of our sins

to the end that we might be presented ‘holy and unblamable and unreprovable in his sight‘.

How is this possible? Only by allowing Christ to come in and take control and give us the hope of glory.

Is this not something worth having?
